"Amazing tokay with all one would expect from world class dessert wine. Apricots, spring flower honey and some nuts. What lifts this wine above almost all Sauternes I had is the perfect balance between sweetness and acidity which makes it fun to drink and does not numb your palate. Highly recommend! Will probably hold for 50 or more years."

"Deep, luminous and obviously very developed coppery color. Very complex, intense and noticeably sweet nose with bold aromas of beeswax, apple jam some, lemon marmalade, a little bit of leather, light caramel tones, a hint of dried apricot and a touch of tangerine. The wine is remarkably intense, sweet and concentrated on the palate with very dense and incredibly complex flavors of roasted exotic spices, honey, some oxidative nuttiness, a little bit of pineapple juice, light honeyed tones, hints of caramel and maple syrup and a touch of apple jam. The bracing, lemony acidity lends outstanding freshness and sense of structure to the wine, offsetting a lot of sweetness from the residual sugar. The finish is incredibly long, racy and very acid-driven with haunting, complex flavors of steely minerality, tart lemony citrus fruits, honey, some beeswax, a little bit of oxidative nuttiness, light smoky tones, a hint of apple jam and a touch of orange marmalade.  An extraordinary and beautifully developed Tokaji Aszú that is in a perfect spot right now. The complexity, remarkable balance and outstanding acid structure are in a class of their own here. The wine might continue to develop from here, but most likely not much - the wine is either on or very close to its plateau of maturity and it is going to stay there for many more decades. Beautiful stuff, drink or keep for as long as you want to. Super value ... - there are very few sweet wines in the world that can offer as much pleasure as this wine.
