"Dried fig, nuts, candies fruit, caramel flavours in this wine that must be sweet but the slightly bitter savoriness dominates. Dark brown colour. Don’t think you can pair cheese with anything more appropriate. Notwithstanding it’s age it’s not tired and just delivers."

"A 500 ML bottle buried in my cellar from many years ago. Still had price tag of $ 13.50. Burnished red/brown in color. Nice nose of prune with some citrus thrown in. Still very drinkable and enjoyed with dessert by 6 serious inbibers. Not overly sweet and nicely balanced. Raisin and caramel on a refined palate. I could have sipped this for hours."

Palate: Citrus, still some acid and quite fresh. Medium full-bodied, on the lighter side. The taste is fresher than flavor. Has a certain elegance."
