János Budányi established his winery in 1993, relying on hisown resources in the village of Tállya with a typical civic mansion built in the 16th century, and 3 hectares of vineyards. In 2000, Budányi bought an 300-years-old cellar in Szerencs, that belonged to Baron Count Harkányi until 1901, and moved the headquarters from Tállya to Szerencs. Today, the wineries vineyard area exceeds 15 hectares, being located in Tállya, Mád and Szerencs.
