"Lots of citrus, dried apricot, peach, caramel and praline. As well as the food match below, it is also sublime with chocolate (milk or dark), fruit mousses and fruit cakes. 70% Furmint 30% Harslevelu." 5 stars

"Tasted as part of WSET 2 day 2 My first Tokaji - this was incredible! A very deep amber colour On the nose: very pronounced and full aromas. Lots of ripe red apple, stewed apricot, pear and stone fruit. A fantastic amount of tertiary notes - mainly caramel and coconut - which come from the oak aging. Palate - very full bodied, and definitely sweet but a nice high acidity to balance. Pineapple, honey and caramel. Finish - long and complex and balanced. Fantastic!" 4.5 stars

... refers to a vineyard in Bodrogolaszi. The Pajzos winery cultivates around 70 hectares there. Most likely, the Pajzos vineyard is related to the wedding of Anna Pajzos of Sáros to a member of the Dókus family in 1899. They have been prominent vineyards owners in Hegyalja since the 17th century. Pajzos might have been created partly from the Dókus estates.
