"The 1993 Tokaji Aszu 5-Puttonyos is a blend of 75% Furmint and 25% Harslevelu that was aged in 220-liter barrels for 24 months. It has a lifted nose of mandarin and marmalade – not complex, but nicely focused and still vibrant after 20 years. The palate is taut and crisp on the entry, with bitter orange, Seville orange marmalade and apricot preserve. The acidity is crisp (9.6 grams per liter) and cuts through the 137 grams per liter residual sugar with ease, lending it a real citric bite on the finish. Drink now-2030+"

"This honeyed, late-harvest white offers a lush, pillowy texture and rich flavors of dried apricots, toffee and vanilla. It's very sweet, yet quite fresh and still lively. Delicious now."

"Medium amber color. Nose of honey, candied peaches, melon, apricot, beeswax, caramel, dried figs and cooked apples. Perfectly balanced and nervy on the palate due to extremely high levels of both sugar and acid (high). Notes of caramel, honey, raisins, cooked peaches, figs. Beautiful velvety texture."

"Notes of honeysuckle, orange rind, honey, and beautiful wild flowers on the nose, mixed with strawberries. Extremely unctious on the palate, with enorous amounts of orange and orange rind, tangerine, honeysuckle, honey candy."

"Colour of burnt orange, like an extraordinary sunset. Nose of toffee, caramel, orange fruit and peel. The palate is full bodied, viscous, spicy, orange, toffee, but with zest and acidity that gives it freshness. This is an amazing wine and everything I want from a sweet wine, spice, acidity, zesty fruit and, of course, sweetness! This is a superb wine that's great now and has many years ahead of it."

... refers to a vineyard in Bodrogolaszi. The Pajzos winery cultivates around 70 hectares there. Most likely, the Pajzos vineyard is related to the wedding of Anna Pajzos of Sáros to a member of the Dókus family in 1899. They have been prominent vineyards owners in Hegyalja since the 17th century. Pajzos might have been created partly from the Dókus estates.
