"Cognacfarben mit Bernsteinreflexen im Glas. In der Nase Quittengelee, kandierte gelbe Früchte und der bei Tokajern obligatorische Waldboden. Im Mund dann zusätzliche Aromen von Marzipan, Waldpilzen, Toffee, Rosinen und salzigen Noten. Die kräftige Säure hält jederzeit gegen die Süße stand. Schöner Abgang der auf Quittenaromen ausklingt.  Hat ebenfalls wunderbar zur Zigarre (Terre de Mythe Grand Perfecto von Laura Chavin) gepasst." 93/100 Punkte.

"Similar to the last tasting. This time, however, additional wonderful aromas of freshly opened walnuts in the nose and in the mouth. The acidity and the sweetness were in a perfectly balanced ratio, so that the very high analytical sweetness was never disturbing. Very long finish ending with nuts pickled in acacia honey." 95/100 points.

"Wow!!! 31 years of age & still vivid & attractive! It is no wonder why this wine was appreciated by kings...perhaps its acid keeps it balanced?  On the nose, you have oranges & seductive burnt sugar.  The palate is all cream, with caramel soaked limes. Fantastic complexity that lasted over 3 evenings.  Many have this for dessert...however, it was great pleasure with a cigar!" 91/100 points.
