After 1996, 1999 and 2007, this is only the fourth Essencia made by István Szepsy. 


"Understandably, this special treasure has not yet been released, from a very specific vintage, about which we can only guess when it comes to sweet wines (but I haven't tasted many dry ones either). It is certain that, like 1999, 2021 will be memorable because of the muscular acids. It still moves, pops and slightly effervescent. A worn, dull golden color. A pear puree, peach compote and acacia honey aroma, in a very youthful style. The taste is also full of pears and peaches, with a slight spiciness. An endless, jammy finish, with lots of bite-sized quince, pear, high sugar, nice balance, exciting acids. It is not wine-like at all, much more like some kind of fruit nectar. Very unique stuff, exceptional, perhaps tasted in its most beautiful state."
