"Deep dark amber brown with a powerful nose of apricot, summer melons, and orange marmelaide and dark molasses. Obviously sweet as all get out, but the balance is still there and the alchohol almost unnoticable. The depth of flavors not just fruits but floral, nuts and berries, honey. It probably smell like a basket of gathered edibles in the hieght of summer. Everyone was floored by how good this was. Worth seeking out. 95 points."

DISZNÓKÖ ...
... is situated on the southern side of a Perlite-hillock, with open faces to west and east, and was once mentioned among the eight most wellknown „dülös“ of Hegyalja. Disznókö means „Pig Rock“ and refers to a large stone that was thought to resemble a wild boar. During the Imperial era, a famous owner of this vineyard was Count Menyhért Lónyay, who was Hungarian Prime Minister from 1867 and K.u.K. Minister of Finance after 1870. Also Archduke Joseph of Austria (1776-1847) owned lots on this tract. Today, this most outstanding vineyard of Mezözombor is exclusively owned by the wellknown Disznókö winery. The old presshouse, called „Sarga Borház“, contains a restaurant today, and the winery's visitors centre.
